Join us for an inspiring night of storytelling and stoke as we celebrate the power of the backcountry community to advocate for the places we love.
We’re thrilled to welcome an incredible lineup of speakers:
Kit DesLauriers, world-renowned ski mountaineer, first person to ski the Seven Summits.
Shaun Raskin-Deutschlander, mountain guide, founder of Inspired Summit Adventures.
Ben White, first person to ski all Wasatch Eleveners in one season.

The Summit Push is Wasatch Backcountry Alliance’s first annual fundraiser. Our goal is to raise enough funds to sustain WBA’s critical work in protecting and preserving our beloved Wasatch backcountry. We want to hear from you! WBA is the recognized voice for the winter backcountry community in the Central Wasatch Mountains, but we need community input!
We want to know what issues you care about and what questions you have regarding the Central Wasatch. Share your questions and comments with by emailing info@wasatchbackcountryalliance.org and we will answer them at our member meeting.

Backcountry Film Festival (round 2)
Did you miss the screening this past December? Now’s your chance to catch inspiring films, epic raffle items, and community.
WBA Trivia Night – Backcountry Shuttle Fundraiser
So you think you know the Wasatch backcountry? Join us for our first trivia night to test your knowledge!
Sign up a team of four people and sign up for $50 per team. Only the team leader needs to register.
Winners will walk away with prizes and bragging rights. Proceeds go to funding the Backcountry Shuttle.
Mountain Resilience: Navigating Grief, Long-Term Injury, and Identity Crisis in the Backcountry
+State of the Snowpack
Explore the untold stories of resilience within the mountain athlete community. Our panel of local mountain athletes and experts in therapy and recovery, Jess Shade, River Barry, and Jessie Brunelle, will share their personal journeys through grief, long-term injury, and identity crisis. Discover coping strategies, the role of therapy, and ways to build resilience in the face of challenges.
Mentorship & Group Dynamics with Maxwell Morrill & Dawn Patrol History with Andrew McLean
Join WBA’s new membership program for a free entry. Tickets for the general public will be available at the door for $10. This event is capped at 70 attendees. You must RSVP to attend. Salty Ski Service will be offering FREE waxes for members and $20 waxes for non-members (with 50% of proceeds going to WBA).
Backcountry Film Festival
Calling all (21+) human-powered winter recreation enthusiasts for the Backcountry Film Festival — an evening of inspiring films, epic raffle items, beer and community!
This event will sell out so don’t wait! Tickets (21+) are $15 general public and $10 WBA members.
