By submitting a sponsorship donation to Wasatch Backcountry Alliance (WBA), you (“Sponsor”) agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Sponsorship Benefits
Sponsorship benefits are outlined in WBA’s sponsorship materials or communications. WBA will make reasonable efforts to fulfill all agreed-upon benefits (e.g., logo placement, mentions, event signage), but does not guarantee specific outcomes or attendance numbers.
2. Use of Sponsor Logo and Name
Sponsor grants WBA permission to use its logo, business name, and promotional materials in connection with the sponsored event or campaign. Sponsor also agrees to provide appropriate logo files and branding assets upon request.
3. Sponsor Promotion of WBA
Sponsors may publicly reference their support of WBA and display WBA’s name or logo for promotional purposes, as long as it is done respectfully and in a manner consistent with WBA’s mission and values.
4. Payment and Tax Deductibility
All sponsorship payments are due upon submission unless otherwise agreed in writing. Wasatch Backcountry Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. EIN: 47-1858280.
5. Non-Endorsement
Sponsorship does not imply WBA’s endorsement of any product, service, or company. WBA reserves the right to reject or remove sponsor content that conflicts with its mission or community values.
6. Event Changes or Cancellation
If an event is rescheduled, moved, or canceled due to weather, safety, or other unforeseen circumstances, WBA will make reasonable efforts to deliver sponsor benefits in an alternative format or at a future event. No refunds will be issued unless required by law.
7. Liability
WBA is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from the event or sponsorship participation. Sponsors participate at their own risk.
8. Agreement
By submitting payment, Sponsor acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. Additional custom terms may be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
